Hotel Policies

Check in is 3pm / 1500hrs.

Check out is 11am / 1100hrs.

Available on request and free of charge. Please contact reception 24 hours before your arrival. If you would like to guarantee early access to your room, we recommend booking the night before your arrival.

Late check-out is available on request for an additional £20 per hour until 1pm. Thereafter a full night would be charged.

At Marine & Lawn, we consider your dog a welcome extension of your family. We’re delighted to host you both and want to ensure every guest – human and canine – enjoys a seamless and comfortable stay.

To help us maintain an exceptional experience for all, we kindly ask that you review and acknowledge the following pet guidelines in advance of your visit:

  • A charge of £35 per dog, per night, applies and will be added to your booking.
  • All dogs must be registered at the time of reservation. This agreement must be completed upon arrival.
  • Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times within hotel grounds, including corridors and public areas.
  • Dogs (with the exception of service animals) are not permitted in The Golden Gorse.
  • Dogs are welcome in the lobby and Bar Ross. 
  • Housekeeping can only access rooms when dogs are not present. Please coordinate room servicing with reception.
  • We ask that dogs refrain from using hotel furniture in guest rooms or public spaces.
  • Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets, both on property and in surrounding areas.
  • Should your dog be left unattended in your room, please notify reception and provide a contact number. For extended absences, we’re happy to recommend local dog-sitting services.

Guests are liable for any damage or injury caused by their pet during their stay. Failure to follow these policies may result in a minimum cleaning charge of £200.

We do not have connecting rooms available. We will do our best to accommodate rooms as close as possible to one another if requested. Please contact reservations and be sure to mention when booking that you would like rooms close by.

Wi-fi is complimentary and available in all public areas and guest rooms.

For bookings of 8 rooms or more (or a cumulative 24 room nights), group terms and conditions would apply. These terms supersede any individual rate terms. If you are looking to book a group with us, please contact a member of our sales team at sales@dornochstation.co.uk, who will be happy to assist.

Parking / Transportation

Complimentary parking is available at the hotel’s car park located at the front of the hotel.

Yes – we’re pleased to offer 4, 22kW Dual Rolec Quantum chargers for guest use, including two units with built-in payment terminals for added convenience. Guests can charge their vehicles using the built-in payment terminals or by scanning the QR code displayed at the charger to pay online. You’ll find our EV charging bays within the hotel car park, clearly marked for easy access. There’s no need to pre-book – chargers are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
