A gentle afternoon for all the family, back again this year. Little ones can decorate their own gingerbread and sit for the face painters, while the grown-ups warm through with mulled wine or a hot chocolate. An easy, unhurried way to mark the season together.

The evening opens with a piper’s welcome and a drinks reception with canapés, before you take your place at the table for a gala dinner among fellow guests on shared tables — the sort of night where strangers become good company before midnight. A fitting way to close one year in the Highlands and step into the next.
