Explore the Walks
Each walk has been handpicked by Hollie and her spaniels to showcase the best of the coastline and countryside. Download the routes straight to your device with Hollie’s curated Garmin maps:

Broad Sands Beach Out-and-Back (5km)
An easy route that follows a coastal track through West Links Golf Course to Broad Sands Beach. Expect big skies, crashing waves and a chance for your dog to run off-lead. Retrace your steps to return.

The Glen Viewpoint Circuit (5.17km)
This loop takes you through the High Street, into the Lodge Grounds, and through The Glen woodland trail. From the elevated viewpoint, enjoy panoramic views before descending to the beach and looping back through the harbour.

Berwick Law and Coastal Loop (9.83km)
Climb the iconic Berwick Law for sweeping sea views, descend past the bird lagoon, and follow woodland trails through The Glen before arriving at the beach. A stroll along the harbour offers a chance for coffee, ice cream, or a bite at The Lobster Shack.

Coastal Trail to Tantallon Castle (14.5km)
This walk offers dramatic cliffside paths, charming cafés, and the awe-inspiring ruins of Tantallon Castle. After passing through town and along East Beach, you’ll pick up the John Muir Way to reach Drift Café—ideal for lunch with sea views and outdoor dog-friendly seating. Dogs are welcome (on lead) at Tantallon Castle, making it a great cultural stop before you loop back via the harbour and High Street.

Gullane Beach and Dirleton Caves Loop (18.54km)
This route takes you west through Broad Sands and Yellowcraig, before entering the shaded trails of a country park. Explore forest paths, lesser-known caves of Dirleton, and the wide, quiet beaches stretching to Gullane. Return the same way.
